Poem: The Weight of Thoughts
Late at night, my mind still turns,
A
flickering flame that never burns.
Endless
loops, the same old fight,
Replaying words in silent night.
What if I spoke a little less?
What if I tried to second-guess?
The paths ahead all twist and weave,
But fear insists, "Don’t be naïve."
I chase
the answers, seek control,
Yet lose myself within the scroll,
A map of doubts, a maze of fear,
A whispered voice that’s never clear.
But what
if I just let it be?
What if I set my worry free?
Not every thought deserves my time,
Not every hill is mine to climb.
So I
breathe in deep, release the weight,
Not bound by every twist of fate.
The world moves on, the stars still shine,
And peace was always there.. inside.
