Poem: The Space to Rest
Thoughts cascade like falling rain,
Endless drops that bring me pain.
What if I missed a chance, a sign?
What if I failed to toe the line?
The weight of what could be or should,
The doubt that questions all that’s good.
What if I spoke and found the way?
What if the answer lies today?
But what if I just stop and see,
The beauty in simplicity?
Not every moment needs a plan,
Not every question holds the span.
So I quiet the noise inside,
And let the current be my guide.
In letting go, I find the space,
To rest in peace and find my place.
